I've looked at website design and graphic art for a long time, but it took a while for me to figure out what I was doing with HTML, iframes, Photoshop, etc. This is my...third?...attempt at making a personal website. The first two were, um...well, not bad, but more an attempt at figuring out tables etc. than actually making an "artistic" site. I'm much happier with this one.
I've been writing since I could pick up a pencil (literally), and fanfiction is a way for me to flex my so-called writing muscles; I've really appreciated the fact that it has near-instant feedback from all sorts of audiences. I write fiction as well as fanfiction; one of my poems was recently selected as a semifinalist in an international poetry competition, and is being included in an anthology and a 32-poem CD set. It was written in memory of my friend and I'm glad that it was chosen; I can keep his memory alive if nothing else. My poetry can be found on my writings page. I am working on several writing projects/novels, and am about 75 percent done with one of them; I work on it when I'm bored.
